Two Bank Waterfront
Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District ShanghaiThe "Two-bank Waterfront" landscaping project spans the inlet of water on which Longhua Port is built, between Longteng Ave and Longhua Rd. The project comprises 2,500 square meters of attractive, functional flood wall as well as 32,000 square meters of greenery, landscaping, and new roadways. Of the newly created roads, Houma Rd runs from Longhua Rd to Yunjin Rd, and Longheng Rd connects Longhua Rd to Yunjin Rd.
Three footbridges now cross Longhua Port, each of them 36 meters long and 6 meters wide. This renovation project involves two phases; the first lasted from July, 2014, to the end of 2015. The second phase now nears completion.
