The “medieval Christmas town” originating from Germany will be open at the West Bund Waterfront Green Space on Nov. 27. The maiden warriors, the Germanic knights, the ancient Roman fighters and the French Santa Clause will line up to welcome your arrival. And you shall not miss the Italian design lighting tunnels and German design Christmas Pyramids. Here you will also be invited to the royal masquerade, ancient Roman athletics, Australian DJ performance and Dream Max children’s theatre. With just one ticket, you are able to enjoy all the fun in the whole town. It’s time to absorb yourselves in the heated holiday joys in such a cold day.

Star Express Christmas Starlight Town

This is an ancient town of thousand years, bright as the day during the night. It’s just like when you pass through the time and space, you meet with a stunning wonderland. There are glowing pyramids and Christmas tress bearing forever commitments. You may find the lively atmosphere in the bustling old streets, learn the French songs from the Gaulish Santa Clause in a cozy German-style bin, or create permanent memories in the Kiss House with your beloved.

Medieval Christmas Cosplay Festival

Dressed up in costumes, or wearing a medieval gown rent with 5rmb, you can start your journey of Christmas excitement. The knights in glittering helmet and armor will invite you together to march forward as a proud guard. It is also possible that you will be invited to have a Scottish dance with the ladies in Europa dresses.

Tips: the COSPLAY parade occurs every two hours (Friday to Sunday and Dec. 24 -25)

Christmas for Foodies

In the 66 German-style cabins surrounded by the Christmas atmosphere, the exhibitors from all over the world are ready to serve. Prepared are wines which are necessary for the Europeans during Christmas, crispy pork knuckles for the Germen, truffles and Macarons for the French, turkeys for the Americans, and Kaiserschmarrn for the Austrians. Are you ready for the imminent worldwide gourmet buffet?

Back to the Past: Ancient Roman Athletics

Swordplay of the Sparta times, football of the ancient Europe, Queen Elizabeth’s favorite sport “Petanque” and the triathlon of the ancient Rome together compose a song of sword and shield.

Dream Max Children’s Christmas Theatre

Children shall not miss the fun brought by the Dream Max. Drama shows Cinderella, the Adventures of Pinocchio and Three Little Pigs that are respectively adopted from the German, Italian and British fairy tales are coming to you.

Dear children, let’s help the pigs beat the wolf, pick beans with Cinderella and fight against the shark with Pinocchio!
