As the largest scale outdoor music festival in the Greater China region, STORM has been attracting thousands of electronic music fans to Shanghai for this music festival every October. In 2013, STORM arrived in Shanghai for the first time. With two fantastic stages and 29 top DJs, STORM offered a 38-hour music feast and appealed to over 25,000 big fans from all over the world. 

In 2014, cooperating with the international brand Budweiser, STORM made a triumphant return at West bund with a greater DJ team, more than fantastic huge stages, and extreme music enjoyment, creating the best ever experience in the electronic music festival for every single fan of life and music. 

During Oct. 5th and 6th, the 2014 Budweiser Storm Electronic Music Festival, known as the “international electronic platform” of China, kicked off the carnival in the Xuhui Waterfront Green Space. Electronic music fans from the main land, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as America and France flooded in here following the world TOP 100 DJs. This year, with more than 30000 participants, this STORM became the largest electronic music festival. Along the riverside with unique culture, the 48-hour event has brought about special experiences for the Chinese electronic music fans. 

At the scene of STORM, there are many TOP 100 DJs and international popular stars, which is the first case in the Chinese electronic music history. Former members of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso showed up together again to escalate the magic power of electronic music. Afrojack, the Grammy winner and new generation pioneer in the electronic music in Holland, took strong moves to light up the passion in fans. And the TOP 10 super DJ Dash Berlin brought their greatest hit Till the Sky Falls Down to reproduce the classic. And Ke$ha, icon in the American electronic music, known as the strongest rival of Lady Gaga, also sang her famous song TikTok the second day, giving rise to an electronic music shock to the scene.

48-hour non-stop music, the world top electronic stars, the dazzling visual impact and laser rays, and passionate dancers have shown the charm of electronic music to the party animals, while pushing the West Bund to top of the fashion trend. 

The unique shoreline scenery and a wide range of green space at West Bund make it possible to make use of the stages at the most. Besides, as West Bund has always been popular among Shanghai fashion people, greater popularity has been brought to STORM and more attention and affection from people across the world have been attracted. The win-win cooperation between the two great brands must stir up greater electronic music climax in China.
