All the pre-sale tickets for Fuerza Bruta of this year were “looted” the minute they were released. On the first day of the show, quite a lot mainstream media from home and abroad were reporting this spectacular event which has gathered hundreds of super stars. In the evening of June 6th, this “divine show” which stirred up the world held its grand opening show and the press conference in the Shanghai Xuhui Waterfront. Singers including Li Quan and Zhou Bingqian, the trendsetter Li Chen, the famous dancer Tan Yuanyuan and many other celebrities, as well as numerous famous SMG hosts like Cheng Lei, Jin Wei, Chen Rong, Ji Xueping and Zhou Jing were all invited, lucky enough to witness the first show of Fuerza Bruta in Shanghai with thousands of spot audience. The opening show also invited staff of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and TV, Government of Xuhui District, Argentina Embassies and Consulates, SMG to share the grand occasion.

Compared with traditional Chinese stage show or stage play, Fuerza Bruta completely breaks limits of the theatre performance. By merging with music, drama, dance and Mayim, it impresses the audience in visual effects over and over and connects the actors and stage to the audience through interactions. As expressed by the director, this show will be everyone’s dream, an affectional and visual feast. 

Approaching the Xuhui Waterfront, you will see a high rising luxurious huge container-shaped castle, where the show will be on. Inside the venue, there is no common stage, nor fixed seats, nor even a standard exit. There are only a few lights dimming in the site. The audience can move towards center of the court as they wish, or stand at any location they like, to have 360° all-around view. There is a stage filled with water overhead, moving up and down. As actors jump and swim in the air, the audience can touch them by reaching out upwards. People will have impressions totally different from watching normal shows, and may be speechless in the presence of the sensation. The show completely breaks the limits of artistic performance and merges with music, dance, drama and installation art, allowing for the audience to move their sight and body according to the changing scenes. Without fixed stage or concrete performing forms, even without coherent story line, the 70-minute show challenges the audience to the extreme with irresistible charm. 

Imported as original edition, Fuerza Bruta will be on for one month, starting from June 6 through July 11 and presented 50 times.
