In this autumn, West Bund has prepared many artistic performances. Starting from September, the world-class art exhibitions and popular music performances will gather around West Bund. These exciting exhibitions an performances will reveal themselves one by one at the Long Museum (West Bund), Yuz Museum, Shanghai Center of Photography, West Bund Art Center, Waterfront Green Space, Longlan Road Green Space, and the newly-opened “West Bund Culture and Art Pilot Zone”, outlining a colorful “2015 ART WEST BUND” blueprint and delivering a spectacle of culture and art.

Among these events, the just-concluded West Bund Art and Design Fair, the first international large-scale exhibition integrating the contemporary art and design in China, was successfully held at the West Bund Art Center. This fair presented to the audience the fine art and design works created by 32 world-class galleries and many top design institutions across the world, which are well received and highly recognized by the insiders and the public. On Sep. 29, the West Bund Art Center will hold the opening ceremony of the first “Shanghai Urban Space Art Season” and its themed exhibition “Urban Renewal”, unveiling the mystery of the cultural event for the audience.

Besides, the Long Museum will hold the installation exhibition “Wang Yuyang: Tonight, I Shall Mediate on That Which I Am” during Aug. 9th to Sep. 16th, the private relic collection exhibition “Times of Prosperity—The Imperial Art of High Qing” during Aug. 19th to Nov. 18th, and the famous international live art exhibition “15 Rooms” during Sep. 26 to Dec. 6th. The Yuz Museum will present on Sep. 1st the first show of “Rain Room” in Asia, a large-scale interactive installation exhibition which rages over London and New York, the “Twin Tracks: Yang Fudong Solo Exhibition” as well as the first exhibition of the “Project Space” series works by Chinese and foreign artists. The newly-opened Shanghai Center of Photography will launch the exhibition “Grain to Pixel: A Story of Photography in China” on Sep. 6th, bringing forth the history of Chinese contemporary photography to the audience.

Two Music Festivals Stirring Up Nation-wide Excitement and Celebration

From Oct. 1st to 2nd, the first session of “West Bund China Voice Music Festival”, which will see participance of the star trainees in the China Voice of four seasons, will set fire to the fans’ dreams and unlimited enthusiasm during the National Day holidays.

From Oct. 3rd to 4th, the largest outdoor electronic music festival in China—the Storm Electronic Music Festival will also kick off. As leader in the current Chinese electronic music industry, this session of music festival will be led by the famous singer Zhang Liangying and present brilliant music performances.
